Plan Your Session
Depending on the type of session, planning time may vary. Generally, we will work through all the details of your portraits, including a day-of timeline if applicable, and officially get your session on the books!

Picture Time
If you're a wedding client, this won't be your first time meeting me. If you're a standard session client, we’ll meet and get to know each other while I prepare my equipment so we can jump right in and spend the next 1+ hours together!

Gallery Delivery
In just a few weeks, you will receive your edited pictures and be able to relive those sweet moments. And please let me know if you'd like printing recommendations!
This is my first photoshoot, what should I expect?
After arriving and chatting for a bit, I will quickly discover which poses fit you best from your personality and go from there! I create the skeleton for each portrait and allow your natural interactions to write the rest of the story. We will move swiftly, but not hurriedly, from spot to spot, and you'll have to forgive me now for how excited I get when I find perfect lighting and natural framing!
What should I wear?
After deciding on a location and overall vibe, I'll send you some wardrobe inspiration catered specifically to you and your session. Generally, you should aim for muted, earthy tones and should avoid bright, bold colors or patterns. Most importantly, wear what will make you feel confident and comfortable.
How many pictures will I receive?
I am a chronic over-shooter so I don't set a limit to how many photos I deliver. But, you can expect a 10+ images for a mini session, 20+ images for a standard session, and 250+ for a wedding.
Are you available outside of Richmond?
Yes! I tend to stay within Virginia, North Carolina, DC, and Maryland, but I am willing to travel further! Fill out my contact form to inquire further.
Do you have an LLC and insurance?
Yes, I have both! Let me know if you need me to provide a copy of either to your wedding venue or another vendor.
Do you work with videographers?
Yes, I invite the opportunity! I take it upon myself to reach out to all your vendors to touch base and introduce myself prior to wedding day. This way, we have an established comfort level and can start off on the right foot!
